| I know it's been a while. I'm full-time now, it's going as well as full-time can :) Tom's still working, doing fine in school. We don't get to see each other very much now, which I don't like, haha. I can't believe it's already almost Valentine's Day! Nothing really is going on, just the usual. I think Tom and I are going to go out for dinner or something for V-Day. Our cat was in heat for the first time, so that was pretty much nasty...hahaha. Anyways, my parents are coming to visit in June! Yay! They're going to stay in town for a few days, look around, go to our church, then the 4 of us are going to go to Asheville and stay at a B&B. I'm way excited. Alright well that's it for now | | |

| Happy 2008!!! Every new years I always remember a billion other ones. I remember the Y2K one where I was supposed to be baby-sitting but got sick..and we were disappointed nothing happened at midnight. I remember our youth group lock-ins...and then the youth group party at Carolyn's house with karaoke. I have had a lot of good New Year's. And I can't believe it's 2008. My Christmas was great. I worked and Tom worked until we left for VA. We had a great time up in VA. We went out to eat, we went to Richmond to see the lights, we played games, we watched movies, it was a lot of fun. I loved seeing everybody again. Christmas Eve we went to our church service. Christmas the grandparents came over, and that was a lot of fun. It was nice having Tom with me for the first Christmas :) Then we all played Pit, and ate, and played all the games we had gotten. I got a lot of amazing stuff from both families. I'll post some pictures later. We stayed in VA a week, then came back and brought Carolyn with us! She stayed for a long weekend, so that was fun. We played xbox, watched movies, played games. Jacy's been home so it's been fun hanging out with her too. Last night the D's were hosting the youth group (only a bout 8 people came) so Jacy and I hid in my house and watched "The Office" :) I normally watch the ball drop every year, but we were all setting off fireworks outside, so I didn't this year. It was fun though. Then today I get to go to work late and stay late, which is nice. So I miss my family, I love being with them, but it's always hard leaving. They want me to work full-time at my job because I am a good worker, and Tom wants me to too (I think he just wants me to so he can buy more stuff.) So if whoever reads this could pray about that-I know it wouldn't be a big deal, I just don't like working full-time, and then I can't just move my time that I come in, you know? But it wouldn't be so bad. I'll decide when Tom starts school again. Guess that's it. I'll post pictures later! | | |
| Well it has been a very long time since I've posted on here it feels like :) Work has been going fine..I finally got my own printer! Yay!! They are being great and not making me have to make up all my hours I will be missing for Christmas. But if I'm way behind when I get back I'll have to work extra-but that's okay. Tom's work has been going well, he likes it, he just doesn't like working ;) He has 2 finals left, then he's done! So far he's doing well in his classes-which I am very thankful for. I joined the gym here so I've been loving going there. It's a street up from my job-it's technically a part of the hospital, so I just go right after work most days. I've gotten to know a few of Tom's friends from some of his classes. There's a study group Tom's in for calculus with about 4 guys in it. After their final friday night we all went back to one of their apartments-so that was a lot of fun. Then 2 of them are coming over again this week to hang out. We had our christmas program at church last night which went really well I think. It's pretty amazing that it did because we had such a problem getting everybody together-but I think it sounded good. We're doing our christmas with Tom's family on Thursday-because Jacy leaves Friday to go to VA to visit Kim. Then a week from Thurs. Tom and I leave for VA!! I'm so excited. I can't believe Christmas is only a little over 2 weeks away!! A year ago I was doing a play at my church-which seems crazy because that seems like yesterday. Tom and I have now been married for 6 months! Which is also very crazy to me :) Dad got a job!! Mom says it's sort of like what he was doing at his old job, but it's only about 10 min. away from home rather than like 45 minutes, so that's nice :) I think he started today, so I have to find out how that went. Anyways, I guess that's it. It was really nice and cold, then lately it's been getting warmer...today it has to be at least 70, we're all wearing t-shirts around here. Alright, I'll post later | | |
